The extensive library was begun almost simultaneously with the first buildings in 1901. It was created through the generous donations of generations of Buck Hill residents, and continues to thrive.

Buck Hill Art Association offers regularly scheduled lessons in such media as watercolors, oils, pastels and ceramics. Lessons in cooking and a variety of crafts are also available. In addition, the Buck Hill Art Association also sponsors exhibitions and the annual Festival of the Arts.
