Christian Galarza


Christian Galarza is a dedicated tennis coach and competitive player with a strong passion for developing athletes and helping them reach their full potential. Currently a student-athlete at the University of Mobile, Christian brings a wealth of experience from his native Bolivia, where he was ranked No. 2 in the city of Cochabamba and held a top 10 national ranking across multiple age divisions. In 2021, he earned his first ITF points, and he continues to compete as a member of the University of Mobile tennis team.

Christian’s coaching philosophy emphasizes building a strong technical foundation while also cultivating mental resilience and strategic thinking—essential components for success on the court. He values the coach-player relationship as a cornerstone for motivating athletes and fostering their growth both as players and individuals.

With experience coaching a wide range of players—from beginners to competitive juniors with UTR ratings above 8.00—Christian has worked at renowned facilities including Boston Net Results, the Mobile Tennis Center, and Camp Caribou. His clientele has included juniors, adults, and seniors, allowing him to adapt his coaching style to meet diverse needs and learning styles.

In addition to his coaching credentials, Christian is skilled in racket stringing and has held coaching and assistant manager roles at various tennis clubs in Bolivia. He is known for his ability to plan dynamic training sessions, lead clinics, and consistently evaluate and refine his approach to ensure optimal player development.

Christian is committed to helping others succeed in tennis by sharing his expertise, fostering supportive relationships, and guiding players in improving their technique, match strategy, and mental toughness.
