Leonardo Fabbri

Leonardo Fabbri began his tennis journey in Italy, where he developed a strong competitive foundation and quickly established himself at the national level. He competed in the Italian U16 Championships and achieved a Top 100 national ranking. His early exposure to high-level competition shaped his disciplined approach to the game and his commitment to continuous improvement.

He continued his tennis career in the United States, competing at the NCAA Division I level with Eastern Kentucky University before transferring to St. Mary’s University. At St. Mary’s, Leonardo plays Line No. 1 in both singles and doubles and served as team captain during the 2024–2025 season, contributing to a national team ranking within the Top 35. Alongside his athletic achievements, he is pursuing a degree in Finance and Risk Management, maintaining a 3.66 GPA.

In addition to his tennis background, Leonardo has developed extensive experience in padel, a sport he learned and trained in Italy, where it continues to grow rapidly. He holds a  certification in both tennis and padel from Italy and has received formal instruction in coaching methodology and player development under experienced coaches, strengthening his technical and tactical understanding of the game.

Leonardo has coached padel in both private and group settings, working with players of all levels. He emphasizes tactical awareness, court positioning, and decision-making, helping players adapt to the fast-paced and strategic nature of the sport. His passion for padel comes from its dynamic, engaging, and social environment, and he is committed to growing the game while delivering high-quality coaching. As the lead padel coach, he brings both expertise and enthusiasm to his role.

Leonardo also brings several years of international coaching experience across both Europe and the United States. He has led private, semi-private, and group lessons, as well as clinics in tennis, padel, and pickleball. Most recently, he worked as a tennis professional at the Mouratoglou Tennis Center in Costa Navarino, where he coached a wide range of clients and contributed to program development. He has also been actively involved in organizing and promoting tennis events through St. Mary’s University.

Fluent in Italian and English, Leonardo is known for his energy, professionalism, and dedication to helping players improve while enjoying the game.
