Maharsh Patel

Maharsh Patel began playing tennis at the age of 13 at a club in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Despite starting later than many peers, he quickly excelled, achieving notable success in state-level Under-14 tournaments. By age 16, he was ranked among the Top 100 players in India in the Under-16 category under the All-India Tennis Association. He continued his progression in the Under-18 category, reaching a Top 50 national ranking, which led to his recruitment by Northwood University in Michigan. After two seasons there, Maharsh transferred to the University of West Florida, where he continued to compete at a high level, earning a UTR of 11.5.
Maharsh began his coaching career four years ago at the Greater Midland Tennis Center, working with players of all ages and skill levels. Upon moving to Pensacola, he joined the Pensacola Tennis and Pickle Academy, expanding his experience across a wide range of age groups and specialties. He is also a USPTA-certified Level 1 Tennis Instructor.
Dedicated to delivering high-quality lessons with energy and enthusiasm, Maharsh focuses on building strong player relationships while developing tennis skills, mental toughness, and match-play strategy. His passion for the game and commitment to player growth make him an invaluable addition to our team.
